Jobot is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial packaging equipment at customer facilities in the Louisville, KY area. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues while traveling to sites and training customers on operation and maintenance.

Qualified candidates have a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience required.
• Experience servicing industrial machinery or automated equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities and complete detailed service reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal support teams.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures.
• Travel regularly to customer sites throughout the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel.

Field Service Technician opportunity with Industry Leader (Multiple openings) | $30-33/hr | Great Benefits + Overtime

Salary: $30 - $33 per hour.

A well-established, industry-leading manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its growing service team in the Louisville, Kentucky area. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and traveling to customer locations to install, maintain, and repair industrial packaging equipment.

The successful candidate will serve as the face of the company while providing exceptional technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in manufacturing environments.

Preferred Experience

• Field service or industrial maintenance experience.
• Packaging, automation, conveyor, or manufacturing equipment experience is highly desirable.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
