Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Quinton, AL. The role covers on-site operation, service, and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment, with training provided on equipment-specific tasks.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma, 0-2 years technical experience, and comfort with MS Office and smart devices. You will work in a high customer-facing role, with a rotating shift and occasional overtime.

Xylem is looking for a Field Service Technician to report to our Quinton, AL location and service our water treatment equipment.

What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the on-site operation, service, and maintenance of our wastewater treatment equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous experience working in an industrial environment is especially encouraged. This position operates on rotating swng-shift with overtime opportunities and occasional weekends.

Position Requirements for Field Service Technicians

• HS diploma or equivalent

The estimated salary range for this position is $22 to $28/hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
