RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply is seeking a Field Service Technician in Grand Island, NE to perform on-site maintenance and repairs on construction equipment. The role requires hands-on experience with engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, plus the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.

The successful candidate will diagnose issues at customer sites, document services accurately, and work with a strong team to ensure equipment is safe and ready for operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment (aerial equipment a plus).
• Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems with ability to read schematics/diagrams.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and advanced repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose issues using the latest tools and apply independent judgment to solve complex problems.
• Accurately document services provided, including time and parts/materials used.
• Meet time guidelines and maintain efficiency levels.
