Job summary

Business Centric Technology is seeking a Field Service Technician to support commissioning, maintenance, and repair of load bank equipment in mission-critical data center environments. This field-based role requires traveling throughout the Southeast, with 90–95% travel to customer sites and a six-month contract located in Fayetteville, GA.

You’ll diagnose electrical, mechanical, and PLC/HMI issues, perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and ensure safety compliance on every site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial field service experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pumps, valves, piping, PLCs/HMIs, or similar industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain load bank equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and PLC/HMI-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Document service activities and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Ensure all work is completed safely while following LOTO, PPE, and site-specific safety requirements.

Job description

We're seeking a Field Service Technician to support the commissioning, maintenance, and repair of load bank equipment used in mission-critical data center environments. This is a field-based role supporting customers throughout the Southeast, with approximately 90–95% travel to customer sites. This is a 6‑month contract position located in Fayetteville, GA (Atlanta Metro).

CONTRACT COMP: Up to $45/hour depending on the candidate's experience, etc.
