This position reports to

Support Services Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work according to work instructions, ABB quality and safety guidelines, and customer expectations. You will deliver quality customer service, plan and execute service work, and communicate effectively to ensure customer retention.

The work model is: Remote.

This role contributes to the Electrification Smart Power division in the Western Region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Working with customers on-site to identify opportunities for operational improvements and pain point elimination.
  • Performing field service tasks, diagnosing technical issues, and analyzing problems remotely or on-site within your certified service categories and products.
  • Preparing material lists and ensuring availability and quality of all materials, parts, and equipment needed.
  • Acting as a trainer for field service associates and customers when needed.

Qualifications for the role

  • 2 years of technical/electrical schooling preferred and/or relevant military experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience with 3-phase (208/480VAC) power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, Panelboards, etc.) or similar military/field service experience.
  • Work authorization to work for ABB in the US is required.
