Culligan by WaterCo in Danbury, CT is seeking a Service Technician to safely operate a company vehicle, perform diagnostics or service on water treatment equipment, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle per DOT regulations.
• Complete daily service orders promptly.
• Install, diagnose, and service residential and commercial water treatment equipment.
• Communicate equipment status and resolve issues for customers.
• Collect payments and assist with past due receivables.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a Company vehicle in accordance with state and federal DOT laws.
• Adherence to established safety procedures.
• Completion of daily service orders promptly.
• Perform diagnostics, installations or removals on residential and commercial water treatment equipment; identify malfunctions and resolve accordingly.
• Foster customer relationships through direct interaction, effectively communicating equipment status and providing problem-solving solutions.
• Ensure timely collection of payments upon service completion and assist in past due receivables collection.

Work Location

• Based at our Danbury, CT office, with occasional travel to nearby Culligan branches as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with the city area where duties will be performed
• Must be available to work Monday - Friday
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
• Please note, candidates offered a position must undergo a DOT physical (at the time of hire and every two years thereafter), a drug screen, and a background check in line with state and Federal laws.
• Plumbing or maintenance skills preferred but not required
• Face-to-face customer service

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift over 100 pounds
• Ability to drive for extended periods (2-3 hours)
• Ability to kneel/bend for extended periods.
