As a Field Services Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of access points and the completion of physical and wireless site surveys. Technicians will need to complete proper inventory, ticket management and asset recording prior to and during installation.
Education: AAS degree in computer science preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 2+ years’ experience with field services support and network cabling.
2+ years’ experience with PC systems, related peripherals, structure cabling,common software programs and operating systems.
A valid driver’s license is required with a clean driving record
Standards: Ability to follow standards as outlined in the cb20 Company Manual.
Skills: Ability to thoroughly and accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete paperwork as required by customer. The ability and willingness to travel (including a weekend departure, traveling during off-hours, and frequent overnight stays). Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premise. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Working time: 40 hours/week. All other times as defined by the demands of the customers and department’s needs.
Lifting: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
