Job summary

ProSearch Recruiting Partners is hiring a Field Service Technician to support a leading manufacturer of laser cutting and turning machinery. The technician will install, service, and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites and collaborate with sales staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

Expect 90-100% travel within the United States with no sponsorship required. The role emphasizes documentation, timely reporting, and adherence to safety guidelines, including OSHA/MIOSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to effectively use the Internet for information and communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and use measuring/test equipment.
• Capable of documenting technical data clearly and accurately.
• Strong communication and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in servicing company equipment.
• Install new equipment at customer sites.
• Provide solutions for service of equipment at customer sites.
• Document all service performed and plan future service needs.
• Maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction.

The Field Service Technician will

• Supportingthesalesstaffinservicingcompanyequipment

• Carefullyandaccuratelydocumentingallserviceperformedontheequipmentaswellaswhatserviceneedsaretobeaccomplishedontheequipmentinthefuture

• Maintainandmaintainingexcellentcustomerserviceandcustomersatisfaction

• Demonstratingapplicablecompanysoftwarecapabilitiestothecustomer

• Preparingtimesheetsservicereportsandinstallationformstimelyandaccurately

• Accuratelytrackingeexpensesandcompletingexpensereportsinatimelymanner

• MaintainingasafeworkenvironmentandoperatewithinOSHA/MIOSHAguidelines

• Communicatingwithotherdepartmentsasnecessary
