$46.00/hr - $51.00/hr
Location & Travel
Remote position. Must have the ability to travel within assigned territory (up to 70% locally and regionally), including some overnight and extended time periods as required.
Overview
Radiology / MRI equipment technician responsible for preventive maintenance, emergency service, and installation support services within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, emergency repair service, and installation support on radiology and MRI equipment.
- Demonstrate competency to perform operational verification procedures, preventative maintenance, and repair service on various equipment.
- Mitigate downtime by troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues in a fast‑paced, self‑directed environment.
- Prioritize, schedule, and organize own work activities to meet client service requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, IT networking, computer science, or a related discipline. Equivalent two‑year military training in electronics, aviation, IT, or computer science is acceptable.
- High school diploma/GED with relevant certifications and three years of applicable experience is acceptable.
- Prior work experience in a hospital setting or with customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using workforce and customer‑relationship management software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off‑hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
- Physical ability to lift or push over 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, climb, squat, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.
- Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
