Responsibilities

Field Service Technician - Industrial Automation | Ann Arbor, MI Area

I'm working on a great Field Service Technician opportunity with a global industrial automation company in the Ann Arbor / Metro Detroit area.

We're looking for someone who is mechanically strong and genuinely hands-on - someone comfortable taking equipment apart, putting it back together, troubleshooting problems, and getting machinery running at a customer site.

What we're looking for:

• Industrial automation / robotics / automated machinery experience
• Mechanical troubleshooting, repair and rebuild experience
• Installation, startup and commissioning
• Experience with servo motors, drives, mechanical assemblies and rigging
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to work independently
• PLC/electrical troubleshooting is a plus, but not required

$75K-$80K annualized hourly + overtime

Time-and-a-half after 40 hours + double time Sundays/holidays

Approximately 75% travel throughout the U.S. and Canada

Must live within approximately 40 miles of Ann Arbor, Michigan

Extensive upfront training before deployment into the field
