Jimco Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a full-time Compactor Maintenance Technician/Truck Leader to service supermarket facilities throughout North and South Carolina and Virginia.

This hands-on, field-based role combines mechanical service work with responsibility for a dedicated service truck and assigned territory. The position operates as a single-person crew requiring strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently in outdoor retail environments.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with maintenance and minor repairs experience.
• Willing to travel across NC/SC/VA.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and federal SSA verification.
• Must reside within 25 miles of Belmont, NC (truck parking location).

Responsibilities

• Operate as a single‑person field crew with a service truck.
• Perform preventive maintenance and field repairs on equipment.
• Accurately record time worked, vehicle maintenance, and reactive work orders.
• Coordinate with corporate office and plan routes for efficient service locations.
