Job summary

INNIO Group, a global energy solutions provider, is seeking Field Service Technicians in California. The role focuses on scheduled maintenance and major engine overhauls in the field, with a preference for candidates based in the Stockton/Manteca area and willing to travel extensively.

You will be part of a team supporting Jenbacher engine systems, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to ensure reliable power for data centers, industrial sites, and microgrids.

Qualifications

• Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
• Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing engines.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to travel including overnight travel.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and field Jenbacher engine overhauls.
• Provide field service support with emphasis on reliability and safety.
• Travel 80%+ daily field travel in the surrounding region, based in Stockton/Manteca area.

Role Summary:

Do you have experience with mechanical power generation equipment, and are a high energy, self-starter, serious minded, capable of working independently and in teams? We are currently looking to add Field Service Technicians to our team. This position is responsible for providing scheduled maintenance and performing minor and major Jenbacher engine overhauls in the field. This Field Service Technician would ideally be based in Stockton/Manteca, California area and be willing to conduct 80%+ daily field travel in the surrounding region.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment)
• Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
• Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams
• Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to travel incl. overnight travel.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Must be able to communicate via telephone & email.

You Might Also Have:

• Attended a technical school
• Related military experience
• Maritime engineering background and/or experience
• Experience with reciprocating gas/diesel engines

Compensation Range:

• Approximately $28/hr - $43/hr(Varies depending on relevancy of experience, technical certifications, and other job-related criteria).
