Job summary

Airgas in Columbia, SC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk gas systems in a safety-conscious, code-compliant manner.

You will lead cryogenic installation setups, conduct site surveys, and support emergency response while ensuring site safety and regulatory compliance. Strong electrical/piping knowledge and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime (days, evenings, and weekends).
• Occasional overnight travel.
• On Call Responsibilities.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Install and service on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk gas systems.
• Lead setup of cryogenic bulk installations at facilities and customer sites.
• Coordinate and support emergency response needs and on-call coverage.
• Maintain site safety and install hazard decals and signage.
• Contribute to piping installation per SOPs and perform site surveys.
