Job summary

Abel Womack is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to join our team in Norwood, MA. You will install, maintain and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related material handling equipment across the Norwood area.

You'll work independently in the field, troubleshoot with customers, and complete electronic work orders using a company tablet. The role offers a company-issued service vehicle and extensive technical training.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
• Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor tech, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems (a plus).
• Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.
• Regular communication with team, parts reps, dispatch, and customers is required.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and build positive customer relationships.
• Provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with customers.
• Apply and grow mechanical/technical skills through continuous training.
• Submit electronic work orders using a company tablet.
• Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service.
