Job summary

Anton Paar Germany GmbH is seeking a field service engineer to perform on-site service, calibration, and repair of precision instruments. The role includes working in GMP environments and documenting every step of service.

You will be the customer’s primary contact during visits, plan assignments, manage spare parts, and contribute feedback for product development. A technical training background and travel willingness are required.

Qualifications

Completed technical training (e.g., electronics technician, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician), ideally with further training as a state-certified technician.
Strong technical understanding and interest in our broad product portfolio.
Service-oriented, independent, and solution-focused working style, with a focus on high customer satisfaction.
Willingness to travel, including regular overnight stays and occasional assignments in other service areas.
Negotiation-level German and advanced English skills; valid driver's license class 3 or B.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site service, including maintenance, calibration, and repairs of measuring instruments at customer sites.
Execute service and qualification work in GMP environments, e.g., pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Ensure proper and complete documentation of performed work.
Act as a competent contact person for customers via phone, email, and in person during service visits.
Plan assignments independently, manage spare parts inventory, and support product development with customer feedback.
