Job summary

Nelbud Services, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial kitchen ventilation and control systems. The role is field-based with travel across the Boston region, starting from the Moonachie shop and using a company vehicle.

You will troubleshoot electrical components, motors, and control systems, diagnose rooftop units, and work with integrated control systems to ensure high-quality service for clients in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background with troubleshooting motors and controls in a commercial setting (required).
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, or integrated control systems.
• Familiarity with BACnet or similar ventilation/control systems (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair rooftop ventilation units.
• Work with integrated control systems and make necessary adjustments.
• Deliver high-quality service while representing Nelbud on job sites.
