Job summary

Nelbud Services, LLC is seeking a hands-on Service Technician for commercial kitchen ventilation and controls in the NYC metro area. You’ll work from the Moonachie shop and travel to job sites with a company vehicle, performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on exhaust/ventilation systems.

Ideal candidates have a strong electrical background, experience troubleshooting motors and controls, and familiarity with PLC programming or integrated control systems.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background and troubleshooting motors and controls in a commercial setting.
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, or integrated control systems.
• Familiarity with BACnet or similar ventilation/control systems (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair rooftop ventilation units.
• Work with integrated control systems and make necessary adjustments.
• Deliver high-quality service while representing Nelbud on job sites.
