Job summary
Nelbud is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial kitchen ventilation and control systems. The role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, field service, and working with integrated control systems, with a company vehicle for travel from Moonachie to NYC metro jobs.
You will diagnose and fix rooftop units, motors, and related controls, delivering quality service while representing Nelbud on site.
Qualifications
- Strong electrical background with experience troubleshooting motors and controls in a commercial setting.
- Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, or integrated control systems.
- Familiarity with BACnet or similar ventilation/control systems (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex issues.
- Ability to work independently in the field.

- Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair rooftop ventilation units.
- Work with integrated control systems and make necessary adjustments.
- Deliver high-quality service while representing Nelbud on job sites.
