Job summary

Nelbud is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial kitchen ventilation and control systems across the Moonachie, NJ area with travel to NYC. This full-time hourly technical role starts at the Moonachie shop and uses a company vehicle for regional job sites.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot electrical components and control systems, diagnose rooftop units, and work with integrated controls.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background with troubleshooting motors and controls in a commercial setting.
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, or integrated control systems.
• Familiarity with BACnet or similar ventilation/control systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair rooftop ventilation units.
• Work with integrated control systems and make necessary adjustments.
• Deliver high-quality service while representing Nelbud on job sites.
