Job summary

TDS Telecom in Arizona is seeking a Field Service Technician III to maintain a highly reliable network, install and service equipment, and lead projects as needed.

Applicants should have 2+ years of telecom experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within the Arizona market; a $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Residence within 60 minutes of Happy Jack, AZ, is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years telecommunications experience.
• 1+ year fiber optic and/or copper cable splicing and repair, installation and repair, or switch training.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots, tests, splices, repairs, and maintains telephone and network equipment and related systems.
• Installs and maintains central office equipment, PBX, Key Systems and related devices.
• Provides advanced troubleshooting and customer service, and identifies sales opportunities.
• Lead projects and participate in field service deployments as required.
