Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a Service Technician - Data Center Service to address warranty-related service issues for our Datacenter product line. You will provide service, guidance, and technical expertise to end users and outside sales reps.

The role can be based at any US location and requires frequent travel to job sites for commissioning and warranty work, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC servicing experience or similar electromechanical background.
• Able to read blueprints, plans and manuals with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment for Data Center projects.
• Review work orders and schematics to determine tasks and parts needed.
• Manage challenging jobs to minimize impact on customers and the company.
• Collaborate with building owners, contractors, engineers and local service providers.
• Consult with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues in system operation.
• Deliver superior customer service while maintaining professional demeanor.
• Advise management on customer satisfaction and product improvements.
