Job summary

IEM is a leading electrical distribution systems provider in Utah. The Field Service Technician Level II role in Salt Lake City supports start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and service for IEM equipment in the field.

You'll diagnose moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, document actions, mentor Level I technicians, and coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time, safe, high-quality service at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution preferred.
• 1+ years of field service start-up and commissioning experience.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and service for IEM equipment.
• Install and modify electrical components and subassemblies as required by project.
• Document service activities, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up items.
