Job summary

NCR Voyix in Florence, SC is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment at retail sites within an assigned territory.

You will perform service calls, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance with on-site and classroom training provided. The role offers rotating shifts, travel, a company vehicle, medical coverage, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver1s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and hardware/OS familiarity.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
• Rotating and weekend shifts.
• Flexible shift work with rotating start times and some holidays.
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance, up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Willing to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail environments to service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, PM work, and system overhauls.
