Job summary

WMH Solutions is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service forklift and heavy equipment across Madison, Huntsville, and the surrounding North Alabama area. You will operate a take-home service van and work daytime hours with some after-hours/on-call coverage as needed.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems on complex equipment, communicating effectively with customers and ensuring high-quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus— but not required.
• Experience with heavy equipment, diesel repair, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial maintenance, fleet service, mobile hydraulics, aerial equipment, cranes, military maintenance, or other complex equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Travel across Madison, Huntsville, and North Alabama for on-site service.
• Diagnose and repair forklift and heavy equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues and solutions.
