Responsibilities

Diagnoses, services and repairs systems on heavy equipment (mechanical and electronic controls, transmissions, hydraulics).
Troubleshoots malfunctions and repairs equipment.
Repairs and maintains drive axles, suspensions, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
Tunes engines, checks fuel systems and injectors, reads schematics, rebuilds components as needed.
Keeps tools and work area clean and organized; may train lower-level workers.
Operates test equipment and reads hydraulic/electrical schematics.
