Job summary

Excel Fluid Group in Brook Park, OH is seeking a Field Service Technician with a strong electrical background. This full-time, first shift role involves installing, wiring, and maintaining pump stations and control systems at customer sites, with overnight travel as needed.

You will diagnose and repair electrical panels, read diagrams, and ensure projects meet safety standards. Travel to municipal and industrial sites, document service activities, and support new installations under the Field

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
Confined Space and OSHA 10 certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and reference check.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform field installation, electrical wiring, and commissioning of packaged pump stations.
Troubleshoot, repair, and test electrical control panels, alarm systems, and mechanical components.
Conduct diagnostics and repair of VFDs, relays, motor controls, level sensors, and float switches.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical blueprints.
Oversee the quality and execution of pump station installations on job sites.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections on sanitary lift stations.
Travel for service calls.
