Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites across the region.

The role includes site-based work with occasional nonstandard hours, a 40-hour guaranteed schedule with overtime, and travel within the region. Training is provided, with onboarding in Dallas, TX, and extensive use of company digital tools.

Qualifications

• Associate or trade certification preferred for electrical disciplines.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics and understanding AC/DC power concepts.
• Proficient in English for customer and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications of equipment.
• Troubleshoot with customers, electricians, and project teams.
• Complete field service reports, expense reports, and data sheets.
• Collaborate with District Service Manager to resolve escalated issues.
• Ongoing training and on-the-job mentoring.
