Job summary

PDS Health in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform general maintenance on dental equipment and office machinery, and to maintain property systems under the direction of the Maintenance Operations Manager. The role requires traveling to multiple offices, handling on-call maintenance, and timely completion of service requests with accurate billing and reporting.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years facilities maintenance experience in office/commercial settings.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel to multiple offices daily.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on dental equipment and related office machinery.
• Responsible for general maintenance of all property systems (Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Drywall).
• Complete maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
• Alert Maintenance Coordinator of unusual occurrences or damages.
• Manage service requests via handheld devices or computer.
• Carry cell phone for on-call maintenance.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain professional conduct with staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Complete payroll timesheets and Field Service Reports with billing details.
• Travel to multiple offices; keep company vehicle in good condition.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
