Job summary

PDS Health in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform general maintenance on dental equipment and office machinery under the direction of the Maintenance Operations Manager. This hands-on role requires reliable travel to multiple offices and timely completion of maintenance requests.

Ideal candidates will have a GED or high school diploma, 1–3 years in facilities maintenance, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1–3 years facilities maintenance experience.
• Valid driver\'s license and auto insurance; background/MVR checks required.
• Must travel to multiple offices daily; reliable transportation.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on dental equipment and office machinery.
• Maintain property systems (Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Drywall).
• Complete service requests timely and document hours and parts used.
• On-call 24-hour emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Communicate with staff and management; maintain professional conduct.
• Occasional air travel; weekend travel may be required.
