Job summary

DOC Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC and related equipment. You will travel within a 3-hour radius of your residence to customer sites and coordinate with the DOC Supervisors and location managers to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role requires strong technical expertise, a detail-oriented approach, and reliable performance under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Commercial HVAC-R equipment.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office and phone apps is a plus.
• Must provide own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components.
• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Units.
• Locate problems by observing equipment and listening for issues.
• Provide daily reports to store managers and regional supervisor.
• Maintain inventory and ensure parts availability.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment.
