Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC units and related equipment.

This role covers stores within a 3-hour radius of residence, requiring travel to customer locations as needed. You will troubleshoot electronic and electrical components, maintain parts inventories, and communicate regularly with store managers, supervisors, and office staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Commercial HVAC-R equipment.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel and ability to cover a 3-hour radius.
• Cross-training on additional equipment available.
• Proficiency with MS Office and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment.
• Maintain inventories and track stock for equipment and parts.
• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components.
• Prepare daily reports and communicate with store managers, supervisors, and admins.
• Replace defective parts using hand and power tools and identify correct parts.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Perform other administrative duties and vehicle maintenance.
