Flogistix, LP seeks a Field Service Technician in Vernal/Roosevelt, Utah. You will service natural gas compression units, focusing on GM 4.3L/5.7L engines and Cummins 8.3/855 engines, with travel to customer sites to ensure peak performance and safety.

The role requires 3–5 years’ hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team in dynamic conditions. Safety is a priority and on-call work may be required.

**Job Title: Field Service Technician**Department: Field ServiceLocation: Vernal/Roosevelt UtahReports To: Area/Field Service ManagerJob Summary:Flogistix, LP, a leading atmospheric solutions company specializing in wellhead and VRU compression, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of natural gas compression units, with a focus on General Motors 4.3L and 5.7L Engines and proficiency in Cummins 8.3 and 855 engines. While knowledge of various engines such as CAT is beneficial, it's not required. The Field Service Technician will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our wellhead and VRU compression solutions, ensuring peak performance and reliability, as well as the safety of our employees and of our equipment.Responsibilities:1. Follow all Flogistix safety procedures as well as customer specific safety compliance, if required at customer job sites, and maintain a safety-conscious work environment2. Build and assemble equipment or mechanical components according to specifications3. Track inventory on truck and accurately charge out parts as needed in order to maintain correct inventory count4. Maintain a clean work environment, which includes proper care for company vehicle and specialty tools5. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, spark plug changes, and tuning CNG engines6. Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems7. Replenish fluids and components of engines and equipment8. Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components9. Handling complex repairs related to the CNG fuel system, engine components, and vehicle systems10. Inspect natural gas compression units and run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues11. Conduct repairs with a focus on maximizing reliability and efficiency in order to maintain assigned units running properly12. Troubleshoot reported problems and implement timely resolutions13. Conduct emissions tests to ensure that CNG compressors meet emission standards set by local and federal authorities14. Resolve customer’s issues on rental and purchased equipment15. Keep detailed logs of work and report on issues16. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest developments in compression technology17. Participate in a positive and relationship building work environment alongside coworkers, customers, management, and other departments18.
