Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Plant City, FL is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to coordinate field repairs and service scheduling. You will communicate with customers (external and internal) about repairs, and enforce the company’s policies.

The role requires an Associate Degree or equivalent, at least five years as a heavy equipment technician, and strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent required.
• Five years experience as a heavy equipment technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and other software programs.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field repairs, services, and maintenance of equipment.
• Direct troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and testing of equipment in the field.
• Develop and maintain repair schedules for all field personnel on a daily basis.
• Create work orders and oversee ordering of necessary parts and materials for invoicing.
• Maintain communication with customers regarding estimates, scheduling, and completion dates.
• Coordinate with internal departments for repair estimates and scheduling.
• Oversee maintenance of rental units and delivery condition of new equipment.
• Provide schedules for outside vendors and manufacturers.
• Track failed parts removed from machines in the field within guidelines.
• Oversee maintenance of service vehicles for safety and upkeep.
