Job summary

Everllence is seeking a Superintendent Engineer for field service operations to supervise maintenance, troubleshooting and modernization of engines and turbochargers on vessels and power plants. You will travel to customer sites, lead contractors, and ensure timely, high-quality service while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in marine or mechanical engineering and 4+ years of related experience, with strong knowledge of control systems and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required for the role.
• 4+ years of related field service experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.
• Experience supervising contractors and coordinating technical teams.
• Knowledge of control systems and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and modernization for engines and turbochargers on vessels and power plants.
• Direct and supervise work performed by outside contractors in repair of the company’s engines.
• Travel extensively by car, train, plane and other means; coordinate schedules with customers and managers.
• Maintain customer relations, provide training and service information, and support sales with technical input.
• Submit service reports promptly and ensure tools/equipment are returned in good condition.
• Lead field teams to complete work on time with high quality and safety standards.
• Follow internal procedures, document events, and maintain compliance with policies.
