Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Sterilizer Repair Technician to support hospitals, surgery centers, laboratories, and research facilities around Cleveland, OH. This hands-on field role involves troubleshooting, independent work, and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing sterilization equipment from Getinge and Steris, performing preventive maintenance, and providing on-site training and support to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience repairing or maintaining Getinge (CASTLE) and/or Steris (AMSCO) washing, sterilization, or surgical equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with working knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Windows-based computer skills and strong communication, organization, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Technical school training in a mechanical, electrical, or electronics field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sterilization, industrial washing, and surgical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment from Getinge, Steris, Consolidated, and Tuttnauer.
• Service autoclaves, sterilizers, rack and tunnel washers, bottle fillers, bedding dispensers, blanket warmers, surgical lights, and tables.
• Complete modifications and maintain service reports and inventory records.
• Show customers how to operate equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Plan service visits, follow site safety protocols, and identify upgrades or needs.
