Job summary

6 Degrees Search in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support medical laboratory analyzers. The role focuses on installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of automated lab instrumentation in the greater Cleveland area.

The candidate should have a strong electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background, be able to travel overnight, and maintain customer relations. A background in servicing medical instrumentation is a plus, with vaccination required.

Qualifications

Certificate or AAS degree in electronics.
Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
Overnight travel will be required.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
Establish a good customer relations foundation.
Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
Maintain car inventory, such as tools and spare parts.
Provide basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.
