Job summary

Prescott's Med in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Sterilizer Repair Technician to provide hands-on field service for industrial washing, sterilization, and surgical equipment. You'll troubleshoot, install, and maintain autoclaves, washers, and related systems while delivering excellent customer support.

Candidates should have a mechanical or electrical background, 1–3 years field service experience, and be able to travel 60–90% to sites up to 3 hours away, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of direct field service or technical maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year repair/maintenance experience with Getinge CASTLE or Steris AMSCO equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel 60-90% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish sterilization and washing equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for multiple manufacturers.
• Install equipment and modify setups as required.
• Maintain service documentation and inventory records.
• Provide on-site training and demonstrations.
• Communicate proactively with customers to resolve issues.
• Plan service schedules to ensure timely completion.
