Radiant Systems Inc. is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to support West regional customers and, as needed, other regions. The role includes troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of semiconductor processing equipment, with training paired with teammates and opportunities for travel.

Ideal candidates have an engineering or electronics background, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer interaction skills. Travel to domestic and international sites may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred.

• Troubleshoots equipment problems; maintains records and reports as required
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime
• Orders and installs parts
• Responds to emergency service calls as required
• Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
• Performs upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
• Remains current on equipment/tools through training, manuals,Periodicals, and other relevant materials
• Upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles and tools
• Maintain standards of conduct acceptable to TEA and customers to preserve site credentials

Military background or specialized technical training a plus

Recent graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering with relevant internship experience.

Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.

Ability to work independently. During training, employees will work in pairs and ultimately join a team of seven.

Primary responsibility is supporting West regional customers, with additional support provided to other regions as needed.

Open to domestic & international travel for training.

Candidates located near offices or major airports (Portland, Phoenix, Minneapolis) will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment


• Troubleshoots equipment problems ? Maintains records and reports as required


• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions


• Orders and installs parts


• Responds to emergency service calls as required


• Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance


• Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed


• Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials


• Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc.


• Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both TEA and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study; Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred


• 2+ year previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment


• Excellent customer interface skills is required


• Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
