Position Overview

This is a Field-Based position.

The Field Service Specialist supports dairy producers by identifying operational opportunities, implementing practical interventions, and driving measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and long‑term performance. This role blends hands‑on dairy experience, operational analysis, and Nibbana technology.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Assessment

Evaluate dairy operations using on‑farm observations, production data, and Nibbana tools. Identify constraints, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.

Intervention Support

Assist improvements in feeding, cow comfort, milking performance, reproduction, employee management, forage production, agronomy, manure systems, digester integration, and workflow efficiency.

Implementation & Follow‑Through

Develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans. Support adoption of new processes, technologies, and workflows. Monitor progress to ensure results.

Reporting & Client Relations

Produce professional Field Service Reports, Maintain accurate documentation and client records, Build trusted relationships with dairy owners, managers, and advisors.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years on‑farm dairy management experience.
• Experience in core dairy production areas and strong operational understanding of commercial dairies.
• Technology and data proficiency.
• Strong communication and follow‑through.
• Willing to train the right candidate or intern.
• Ability to travel; valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing operational changes or SOPs.
• Knowledge of digesters, nutrient management, forage production, agronomy, or agricultural technology.
