Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across customer sites. You will work with technologies including filtration, RO, IX, UF, and more, performing calibration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial settings, strong mechanical skills, and valid TWIC and driver's license. Travel up to 5% and ability to lift 50 lbs are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oilfield, refinery, or chemical plants.
• Electrical, chemical, and/ormechanical experience.
• Excellent mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on valves, air compressors, ejectors, pumps, and instrumentation.
• Consult with customer management and operation teams.
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance.
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
• Perform analytical testing (turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC) and other site-specific tests.
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX).
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission-critical role involves working on a variety of technologies, including media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), deoxygenation, electro-deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and completework ordersin Maintenance Program (MaintainX)

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oilfield, refinery, or chemical plants
• Electrical, chemical, and/ormechanical experience
• Excellent mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)

Preferred Skill

• Forklift Experience/Training

Education & Experience:

Required

• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Current TWIC Card
• Current Driver’s License

Preferred

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical

Working Conditions:

• 5% travel (training/other site visits)
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Working with hot, dirty, loud, moving equipment
• Working with chemicals for water treatment
