Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance on water treatment systems across multiple industries. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems, perform analytical testing, and create detailed service reports.

Travel is limited to about 5% with onsite work in diverse facilities. The role requires experience in industrial environments, a TWIC card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical plants.
• Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience.
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting).
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Current TWIC Card is required.
• Current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

• Consult with customer management and operation teams

• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications

• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

• Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
