Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Dispatchable Field Service Representative to deliver operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across multiple industries. You will work with technologies such as media filtration, RO, IX, and UF, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls, while maintaining site documentation and training customers.

The role requires travel within the region, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with project teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of service/maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, and instrumentation.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance.
• Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with technical summaries.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals and ensure proper supply.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
• Perform analytical testing (turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC) and other site-specific tests.
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities.
• Review customer plant installations against drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement).
• Consult with customer management and operations teams.
• Provide informal training to customers on operation and maintenance.

Job Description

Job Summary
As a Dispatchable Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission-critical role involves working on a variety of technologies, including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), deoxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Provide customers with informal training on the operation and maintenance of their system
• Ensure contract compliance with volume and quality specifications
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

Required

• High School Diploma / GED / Homeschool Certification OR international equivalent
• Minimum of 2years’ experience inservice/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to travel within the region, as needed
