Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Dispatchable Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across industries. You will work on technologies like RO, IX, UF and more, performing maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting on-site.

Key duties include servicing pumps, valves and instrumentation, creating detailed reports, and ensuring contract compliance. Travel up to 25% is expected, with comprehensive training and growth opportunities within Veolia's

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
• Current Driver’s License required.
• TWIC Card preferred (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls on equipment (valves, pumps, instrumentation).
• Create and maintain site paperwork; provide technical summaries of work performed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals; ensure availability.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
• Perform site testing (turbidity, hardness, pH, etc.) and document results.
• Enter and complete work orders in the CMMS MaintainX; respond to callouts.

Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Dispatchable Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations andmaintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers from one of a variety ofindustries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, mediafiltration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, andultrafiltration (UF).

Key Characteristics:

• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, aircompressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summariesof work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, inaddition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)
• Respond to customer callouts
• Supporting team coverage during planned absences
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Required:

• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Current Driver’s License

Preferred:

• Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate inInstrumentation, electrical, mechanical
• Current TWIC Card

Working Conditions:

• 25% travel (training/other site visits)
• Working with chemicals for water treatment

Compensation:

The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly bench-marked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $30.68- $36.00 USD
