Job summary

Veolia Group's Water Technology division seeks a Dispatchable Field Service Representative to provide on-site operations and maintenance for water treatment systems across multiple industries. You’ll work with technologies including media filtration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, and ultrafiltration, performing maintenance and troubleshooting.

• High school diploma or GED required; industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in service/maintenance in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize water treatment system performance.
• Create site paperwork and provide customers with technical summaries.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals; monitor injection systems.
• Review installations against reference drawings and train customers.

Job Summary

As a Dispatchable Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission‑critical role involves working on a variety of technologies, including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), deoxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO², O², SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
• Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Provide customers with informal training on the operation and maintenance of their system
• Ensure contract compliance with volume and quality specifications
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Required

• High School Diploma / GED / Homeschool Certification OR international equivalent
• Minimum of 2years' experience inservice/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation

Working Conditions

• Must be able to travel within the region, as needed
