Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG), a Lowe’s company, seeks a Field Specialist to ensure installations meet quality standards and are completed on schedule. You will serve as the primary on-site liaison between customers, installers and the management team, driving problem solving and best practices across operations.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, strong communication skills, and experience in operations, customer service, and subcontractor management.

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Experience in Operations, Customer Service and Sub-Contractor Management.
• Knowledge of flooring installation systems pertaining to single family home construction.
• Highly collaborative and works well with others.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, injury/accident-free culture.
• Provide updated status checks on the stages of home construction.
• Manage relationships with key customer contacts.
• Initiate corrective action to emergent issues.
• Ensure installation quality is acceptable.
• Primary point of contact on customer installation issues as well as accidents and mishaps on-site.
• Work closely with GM, Director of Operations, Management team and other managers/supervisors to identify best practices in all functional areas.

Job Summary

The Field works with our customers and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and meet our expected level of quality. This is key position in our organization and vital to our overall performance as a contractor to the builder industry. As such, the Field must be an “installer-friendly” individual and help maintain our “installer-centric” culture which is critical to our business and success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
