Job summary

The client, a global leading manufacturer of medical devices for OR, Critical Care, ED and Anesthesia, seeks a Field Service Rep based in South Georgia to service hospital equipment across a large territory.

You will perform installation, inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, and software upgrades, while coordinating onsite visits and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams. Travel is required with expenses covered and a company car provided.

• Provide professional technical service on installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of Patient Monitoring and Anesthesia products.
• Prioritizes and schedules all customer onsite visits to maximize efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform software upgrades on some products and maintain communication with customers and regional teams.

We are conducting a search for our client – a global leading manufacturer of medical devices in the OR, Critical Care, ED and Anesthesia space. They have an immediate need for a Field Service Rep based in a major South Georgia city to service medical device equipment in hospitals over a large geographic area, primarily in the southern half of Georgia. There is some travel, but all expenses are covered and a company car is provided.. This company is growing rapidly and expanding their service department; this is a terrific opportunity!

In this position, you would provide professional technical service and support on the installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of Patient Monitoring and Anesthesia products in accordance with established Client Service policies and procedures. Prioritizes and schedules all customer onsite visits to maximize efficiency and assure customer expectations are satisfied. Perform software upgrades on some products. Maintains positive professional communications with customers, regional team members, and the technical support group.

You will actively pursue the renewal of existing service contracts and identify potential service contract customers by providing contract quotations, and pursue the timely closing of all new contract proposals. Maintains twenty-four-hour continuous coverage of the territory to provide uninterrupted support and operation of products.
