Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required.
• Minimum two years in military, construction, or skilled trades.
• Hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and understand conceptual drawings or blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in restricted mobility areas and confined spaces.
• Ability to travel to local and out-of-state assignments (<10%).
• Compliance with Nightwing's Silica Monitoring Program.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to prepare training documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint).
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification in a skilled trade.
• Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License.
• U.S. Citizenship status is required for this position and ability to obtain TS clearance.

Nightwing is seeking to hire a cleared Field Service Professional to work at our Springfield, Virginia location. The successful applicant will have a background in the construction and trades industry. The applicant will work with other experienced personnel in a cross-functional team environment to create and take innovative solutions from conceptualization through prototype development. Responsibilities include training, testing, procedure development, testbed configuration prep, and fabrication of testbed structures. The applicant will have a strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members to refine procedures and designs. Active and transferable Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills

• Journeyman license or equivalent certification in a skilled trade (e.g. plumbing, HVAC, electrical)
• Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License Desired Education * Associate's degree from an accredited institution (Bachelor's degree preferred) U.S. Citizenship status is required for this position, and it requires the ability to obtain and retain an U.S. Top Secret Clearance with a successful Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.

The salary associated with this position ($77,000-$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
