Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC is seeking a cleared Field Service Professional to support our Springfield, Virginia location. The role focuses on training, testing, procedure development, testbed configuration prep, and fabrication of testbed structures in a cross-functional team setting.

Applicants must hold active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance, with 2+ years in military or skilled trades, and be able to read blueprints and lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required; background check and eligibility for clearance.
• Minimum two years experience in military, construction, or skilled trades.
• Hands-on carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read conceptual drawings or blueprints; work in restricted spaces.
• Can lift up to 75 pounds and work in team environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% locally and out of state; valid drive license.
• Compliance with Nightwing’s Silica Monitoring Program and safety rules.
• Strong verbal skills and ability to document training materials.

Nightwing is seeking to hire a cleared Field Service Professional to work at our Springfield, Virginia location.

The successful applicant will have a background in the construction and trades industry.

The applicant will work with other experienced personnel in a cross-functional team environment to create and take innovative solutions from conceptualization through prototype development.

Responsibilities include training, testing, procedure development, testbed configuration prep, and fabrication of testbed structures.

The applicant will have a strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members to refine procedures and designs.

Active and transferable Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills

Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance Minimum two (2) year of relevant experience in the military, construction, or skilled trades industry Hands-on experience such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical assembly Ability to read and understand conceptual drawings or blueprints Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to work in restricted mobility areas and confined spaces Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to travel to local and out of state assignments (less than 10% travel) Compliance with Nightwing’s Silica Monitoring Program Willingness to apply for Nightwing’s Non-Commercial & DOT Driving Programs Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare written training documentation Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)

Desired Skills

Medium and/or heavy equipment operator Military or special operations experience Journeyman license or equivalent certification in a skilled trade (e.g. plumbing, HVAC, electrical) Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000–$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
