Qualifications

• 2–5 years of diesel, mechanical, or related technical experience.
• Diesel engine troubleshooting experience.
• Strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose electrical issues.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with pump station electrical controls is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and service on Godwin fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, pumps, and electrical systems.
• Rebuild diesel engines and pump ends.
• Assist with pump system setup and start‑up at customer sites.
• Conduct equipment damage assessments and report findings.
• Test repaired equipment for proper function and quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and shop equipment.
• Use computer‑based diagnostic tools.
• Participate in weekly on‑call rotation to support customers after hours.
• Support Xylem Watermark volunteer activities.
