Job summary

Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Field Service Manager to support our Williamsport, MD location and surrounding areas. The role involves guiding and mentoring road technicians, providing technical support, collaborating with customers, and traveling to client sites.

This position offers growth opportunities within a family-owned company with 50+ years of experience. The successful candidate will lead field service activities, oversee technician development, and drive customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Must be customer service focused.
• Mechanical and technical knowledge of lift trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical expertise.
• Attention to detail a must.
• Ability to think ‘Outside the Box’ and problem solve.
• Proficient using a computer.
• Oversee the training and development of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Guide, coach, mentor road technicians on service work.
• Provide resolution to technicians who need additional technical support.
• Work with customers, technicians and other staff to seek resolution.
• Travel to customer locations.
